The Grade 12 class met today for mission trip training. Thank you to Grace and Truth Chapel for hosting us. Led by Mr. Fuller, Mrs. DiPietro and Shantelle Vera, Ministry Director for the Canadian Office of Global Shore Opportunities, the training covered the practical aspects of traveling to Guatemala, the emotional challenges in experiencing a new culture and language and the spiritual and relational opportunities for growth. We talked about our hopes, fears and the things we are excited to learn. God has blessed the trip already in many ways. We appreciate continued prayers for the journey, especially our transitions in airports and through customs. The team will leave on Tuesday, January 24 and returns on Friday, February 3. – Mrs. DiPietro
