Alumni

All Over The World

From Maranatha’s first graduating class in 2003 to the present day, our graduates
leave with a strong academic foundation that is rooted in Biblical teaching. They
go on to study at universities and colleges throughout Ontario and Canada as well
as in the United States and overseas, including at Oxford University, the University
of St. Andrews in Scotland and the University of Bergen in Norway. They often
have many opportunities to choose from.

Each year, universities within Ontario schedule visits and actively recruit our Grade 12 students. The University of Windsor has been known to send multiple department heads to visit our school. St. Clair College has also wooed several of our graduates into the skilled trades.

What Comes Next?

MCA alumni are able to go anywhere they want to after graduating. Most achieve the status of Ontario Scholar at the end of Grade 12 and are accepted into at least one of their universities or colleges of choice. This underscores the quality of the teaching and the dedication of our faculty, who want each student to meet their potential.

It has been remarkable to see how the Lord has sprinkled the grads from our school throughout the workforce, our community and around the world. Our graduates can be found at such companies as Tesla (California), Google (California) and Microsoft. They can be found in ministry and lay church leadership. They can also be found right here at Maranatha as staff members. Recently, one graduate, Alexa Winik (’08), won the RBC Bronwen Wallace Award for Emerging Writers worth $10,000 and presented by the Writers’ Trust of Canada.

Regardless of whether God has created the student to work as a doctor, a factory worker, a missionary, a stay-at-home parent or anything else, we support them in their unique giftings and help them to develop their leadership skills. Our graduates leave ready to pursue their goals, prepared for life’s challenges and equipped to make a difference for Christ.
