At Maranatha Christian Academy, it is our vision to participate in sport for God’s glory. Through Athletics, we strive to honor God and the people that we compete with by giving our very best every time we enter into a competition.
We desire to be leaders in the way that we treat the coaches, referees, fans and opponents in each match we play. Some of our athletes have gone on to play at the varsity level … and even the Olympics!

Elementary Athletics participates in two divisions: 1) a local Windsor league (comprised of Christian and/or private schools) and 2) the Bluewater District Christian Schools league (in southwestern Ontario).
Students are encouraged to try out for any team. Our youngest Panthers can get their start in Grade 2 on the Cross Country team and the Track and Field Team. When they hit Grade 5, they can try out for most of the other teams.

MCA competes locally against other area high schools in WECSSAA, regionally in SWOSSAA and is eligible provincially for OFSAA. Our Boys and Girls Volleyball teams reached the WECSSAA finals and we have achieved success at the provincial level with OFSAA individual and team participants and medalists.
As our High School Athletics Director says, “MCA Panthers have the unique opportunity to compete on a team that is not just focused on winning the next competition but on a team that together strives for a higher goal!”
