For most of us this is our first trip to Nicaragua. We have been very aware of your prayers as we have watched God provide and work through many to organize all the details. Thank you to those of you who rose early to drive us to the airport in Detroit. We are reminded of the team effort in this journey.

We were blessed by an agent who processed us through as a group, checking our luggage (no overweight bags!!) and issuing our boarding passes very quickly. A few quick pictures, and we were off to the airport security lines.

As often happens when I travel, I am reminded of God’s words through Isaiah saying “I took you from the ends of the earth, . . . I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” We look forward to seeing God’s hand at work in us, through us and around us and then sharing with you the stories of our faithful Jehovah Jireh.
