International Program Details

Our rates are competitive and include the opportunity to buy affordable Study Insurance, which is necessary to study in Canada.

Contact the Admissions Office for up-to-date international tuition and ESL fees. International students are assessed by Maranatha Christian Academy to determine if ESL instruction is required for academic success.

Upon acceptance to Maranatha, our International Student Coordinator will facilitate a homestay with a Maranatha family.

It’s an enriching opportunity to be immersed into Canadian culture and will help ESL students improve their English. Often, our students stay in touch with the homestay families for years.

Maranatha is on Canada’s approved list of Designated Learning Institutions, so we are permitted to accept international students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have an International Student Travel and Arrival Guide available upon acceptance.

Contact our Admissions Office for details.

Check out our High School page for details on diploma requirements, our course calendar, a sample program and our Grade 12 Missions Trip.

Most of our international students in elementary have come with a parent. The Homestay Program may be an option for older elementary children. See our Elementary page for program details.

Contact our Admissions Office for further information.

Our English As A Second Language program focuses on giving students a solid foundation in English while also integrating them into our core classes as much as possible.

Why choose Windsor?

Windsor is Canada’s southernmost city. It is in the Great Lakes region across the border from Detroit. Our climate is milder than almost any other city in Canada. We get just enough snow to play. Summers are beautiful. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking and exploring the outdoors.

The Windsor area offers museums, beaches and other attractions. With a Visit Visa to the United States, you can take advantage of the big city amenities in Detroit. Within Canada, we are about four hours from Toronto and Niagara Falls.

Why choose Maranatha?

MCA provides a Christian environment for students wanting to study in Canada. We offer Bible-based values, leadership opportunities, rigorous academics, competitive athletics, a Grade 12 cross-cultural mission trip and ESL classes.

Our Statement of Beliefs/Educational Principals underlies everything we do. Our well-trained Christian staff care about the students’, including their spiritual, physical, social and academic wellbeing.

We have lower teacher to student ratios, a full service science lab, large gym and art studio.

Our Class of 2021 earned $230,000+ in scholarships.

Where do our international graduates go after MCA?

Some choose to return to their home countries, but most study at universities in Canada including the University of Windsor, University of Ottawa, McMaster University, University of Waterloo, Queen’s University, the University of Alberta and St. Clair College.

They have pursued degrees in such areas as Developmental Psychiatry, Commerce, Business, Medicine, English, Education, Computer Science, Math and more.
