Hi! My name is Andrea Huisman, and I’ve been involved in our amazing Maranatha community for more than 8 years now.

My husband and I have a recent MCA high school graduate as well as 3 other children who currently attend the school.

We worship at Encounter Church in Amherstburg. I enjoy playing volleyball and spikeball, reading, going for walks, and spending time with my family in the backyard. At school, I love being able to teach each subject area from a Christ-centered perspective. Getting to share God’s word on a daily basis is SUCH a privilege!

One of my favourite scripture verses is from Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through him who gives me strength.” This verse keeps me going back to the best source for all situations.
