Sandy Robinson

Grade 6 Homeroom

My husband and I lived several years in Toronto (after finishing my Bachelor of Education), where I taught high school for a few years. But after having our fourth child, I reduced my class size and began home schooling my children instead — each of them to the end of Grade 9.

Fifteen years ago, we moved back to the Windsor area — back to family and childhood memories — and have been thrilled with that choice ever since (nothing brings a smile to my face more, than when I hear someone complain of the traffic here).

I grew up in Essex and Kent Counties and spent a good deal of my childhood travelling and singing with my family in music ministry. There’s probably not a country church within 400 kilometres that I haven’t been to. Worship music is still my love language! “I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.” (Psalm 13:6)

Serving and teaching at Maranatha in various roles these past few years has been a JOY because of the faculty, staff and families who make up this inspiring community. I couldn’t ask for a better place to have my “iron sharpened,” both professionally and spiritually. And so again, I proclaim — “He has dealt bountifully with me!”
