Safely home and giving thanks

Principal’s Message: The MCA 2023 Guatemala Mission Team arrived home safely late last night. Praise God for His providence during every stage of this trip! From the very beginning planning meetings to the final train ride home to Windsor, we have seen God’s hand at work and experienced His goodness.

Thank you Global Shores Opportunities for continuing to partner with us and for providing such an excellent and impactful short-term mission experience for our students.

As principal and personally as the parent of a student on the team, I would like to thank Mr. Fuller, our high school vice principal, and Mrs. DiPietro, one of our high school teachers, for taking on the tremendous task of planning and leading this mission trip for our Grade 12 students. Planning a trip like this is always a lot of work, but this year, travelling in a post-pandemic world was a huge leap of faith. Mr. Fuller and Mrs. DiPietro led by example, putting their trust in God to provide for every need along the way.

I would also like to thank our parent volunteer chaperones, Mrs. O’Neill, Mr. Sweet and Mr. Wagner, who gave their time and talents to make this trip possible. Travelling to a foreign country with a group of students is a daunting responsibility. What a blessing to know that our children were being led by a group of men and women who love the Lord and model what it means to walk by faith. I know we will continue to see the fruit of your labour for years to come. To God be the Glory!

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you. Philippians 1:3
