Jennifer Saxton

Grade 4 Homeroom

I am married and have 3 grown children. I attend Oakwood Bible Chapel where I am currently involved in the Women’s Ministry Committee, Girls’ Club and a few other roles.

I came back to teaching after many years of being at home with my children and running some at-home businesses. In recent years, I have had the joy of supply teaching at Maranatha in both the elementary and secondary divisions and getting to know many of the students by name.

This year, I am teaching Language Arts and Visual Art to the Grade 4 class. I love doing morning devotions with my students and pointing them to Jesus throughout the day, no matter the subject we are learning. It is my prayer that God will lead me and give me wisdom as I teach my students.

“Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you all day long.”— Psalm 25:4-5
