Orientation Day – Read details

1) STUDENTS

We are looking forward to seeing all of you again! It has been way too long. In order to address some of the questions and alleviate some of the possible anxiety about what returning to school will be like we have planned Orientation Day to look a little different this year.

We have a schedule for the day and stress that students should arrive on time. We need to keep to the schedule, so we are not keeping a group waiting. We will also need to sanitize prior to the next group entering the building.

A video is being sent out for families who are unable to attend Orientation Day. The video will also allow parents to see what changes have been made to the school.

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY

12:00-12:30- Grades 1, 5, 9

12:45-1:15- Grades SK, 3, 7, 11

1:30-2:00- Grades 2, 6, 10

2:15-2:45- Grades 4, 8, 12

STUDENTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO BRING SUPPLIES ON THIS DAY

2) PARENTS

Parents will not be permitted into the school. Again, we have prepared a video for you to see some of the changes and routines students will follow. Parents, some members of the Membership Care Committee will be outside on the soccer field if you would like to catch up after the summer, while practicing physical distancing. Please bring a lawn chair if you would like to sit while you visit.

If parents have other children with them that are waiting for their turn to go into the school, they will all need to remain in their vehicle. Students are not permitted to use the playground.
