Stephanie grew up in Leamington, Ont. Following her undergraduate studies at Trinity Western University in Langley, B.C., she moved back to Ontario to marry her husband, Dustin. Then, in 2018 and after nearly 20 years of being away, Stephanie returned to Essex County. The Newhooks had completed almost a decade of church ministry, as youth pastors and church planters, and they felt it was time to return to Essex County to be closer to family.
Stephanie taught at Pickering Christian School in Ajax for 7 years and was thrilled to take on a teaching role at Maranatha upon returning “home.” She considers it a privilege and a pleasure to teach young children at MCA and is honoured to be called to serve as a Christian teacher.
Her husband and three children live in Belle River and attend Lakeshore St. Andrews.
Stephanie loves the outdoors and can be found on her paddle board in the summer and her snowboard in the winter.
