Congratulations to Zoe Zdunich, Madeleine Brown, and Christer Bunce on ranking sixth place at the YouThrive business competition held at the University of Windsor. They performed professionally against other high quality entrepreneurs. YouThrive is a ten-week entrepreneurship program run by Enactus Windsor. Our high school choir will soon head off to the Niagara region to perform in the Choir Festival with other Christian high schools. Today, they hosted a bake sale to help fund raise for their trip.
As part of their ecology unit, the grade 9 science class is visiting Ojibway Park once a week. Students have designed field studies where they will collect data on plants and animals in the park. Some examples include: looking at deer patterns, performing quadrant studies, testing the health of ponds, and observing which foods birds prefer.
