Elementary Student Support Services

I have been a teacher at Maranatha for more than 20 years, and I still love my job!

There is never a dull moment when teaching children. Seeing students flourish and realizing that they are valued for who they are and not by what they do, continues to inspire me. A favourite part of my day occurs when I am working with a small group of students and suddenly the “light” goes on and the difficult becomes manageable. I want my students to know that they are dearly loved by God and placed in our world for a purpose.

On a personal note, I have four children, four grandchildren and have been married for the past 40 years. I also like to go camping, travel when possible, walk our puppy every day, try out new recipes, be an active member of my church, read books, listen to the birds in my backyard, dream about writing a novel and spend time with family.
